EN-GJL-200

This grey iron grade is commonly used for less complicated parts with a wall thickness larger than 5 mm. It has a fine structure containing small amounts of ferrite and no tendency to rim hardness. It combines strength and density and it offers exceptional machinability.

Typical applications:

Electric motor housings, gear housings, bearing cover/shield, consoles, manifolds etc.
